Somewhere out there

Every night,
I look at the stars and at the moon.
They seem so glamorous, up there…

The sun arrives.
It shines on my hair, so bright…
My heart knows it’ll be a perfect day.

I just wanted to be outside,
Looking for friends, running in the woods,
All the nature would smile to me,
If only I could fly…

Somewhere out there,
I see a loving pair,
Walking through the rain,
Kissing in the wind.
I wanted to receive and feel the same love,
If only I could be them…

I wanted to learn to love.
Be on the trees, chasing places…
Dancing, singing, walking,
Oh, it would be just fine.
If only there was a chance to freedom!

Besides that door,
What dreams the street hides?
I wanted to live freely,
Like them…

They live so many things at the same time…
They feel things I never ever felt…
Tell me, how they get all that?
They don’t even know the luck they possess…

Somewhere out there,
As a young and happy bird,
I could fly and feel just like a human being deserves to feel.
I want to be free,
Somewhere out there…

Give me a chance to love,
A chance to feel.
Alone in this pain,
There’s nothing more I do, but watch the air…
Life goes by and I’m still here…
Lonely with my voice…
Inside a dark room,
